From central Riga, follow Kalnciema iela, then Lielirbes iela westbound and turn right on to the A10/E22. Continue on to the P133 intersection, which leads directly to the airport.

Riga International Airport is situated 11 km (7 miles) west of central Riga.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus:Bus 22 (tel: +371 8000 1919; www.rigassatiksme.lv) runs every 10 to 30 minutes to the city centre from outside the terminal. The journey takes 30 minutes and costs €2 - there is a discount if you buy your ticket at the 'Welcome to Riga' desk in Arrivals. A number of long-distance bus/coach services to other destinations in the Baltic States are also available.
Shuttle:A minibus shuttle (www.rdsd.lv [in Latvian only]), route number 241, also transports passengers to the city centre. The fare to Zolitūde (on the city’s western edge) is €1.
Taxi:Taxis operate from outside the terminal building and a taxi office is directly opposite. The journey time to the city is around 15 minutes, and fares start at around Ls8-10.
Terminal facilities
Money:
Banks, bureaux de change and ATMs are located in the terminal building.
Food:
A wide choice of cafés, bars and restaurants can be found throughout Riga International Airport, including three eateries in the public area. Among the choices are international restaurant and coffee chains, a pizza outlet and cafés serving Latvian fare.
Shopping:
Riga International Airport is home to a wide range of shops, offering everything from jewellery and electronics to local souvenirs and food. Duty-free is available in the departure area for passengers leaving the EU. The departure area is split into four concourses, with shops on each.
Luggage:
Left-luggage facilities and lost and found services are located on the ground floor. Riga International Airport provides luggage trolleys free of charge.
Other:
Other facilities at Riga International Airport include a pharmacy, an on-site medical facility and a chapel.
Airport facilities
Conference and business:
The terminal’s refurbished VIP lounge (tel: +371 6720 7132) is available to premium passengers, specified credit card holders or those wishing to pay a fee. The lounge includes small meeting and conference rooms and offers basic business facilities.
The nearby Hotel ABC (tel: +371 6789 2728; www.hotelabc.lv) also offers limited meeting facilities; or alternatively, the main city centre hotels provide a wider choice.
Communication Facilities:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Riga International Airport. There is a post office on the ground floor, and public telephones are situated at various points throughout the terminal.
Disabled facilities:
Riga International Airport is fully accessible and is equipped with lifts and help points, while designated disabled parking spaces are available close to the terminal entrance. Assistance for the disabled, including the provision of wheelchairs, is available on request.
Car parking:
Short-term parking is located opposite the terminal building. Two long-term car parks (P2 and P3 – the latter also includes hire car parking) are situated a little further away, and are linked to the terminal by shuttle buses.
Car rental:
Car hire companies Auto 5, Avis, Budget, Europcar and Sixt are represented at Riga International Airport. Desks for these operators are located landside on the ground floor of the arrivals hall, while car hire parking can be found in car park P3.
