Passports
To enter Paraguay, a passport valid for the duration of stay is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. For visa applications passports must be valid for at least six months.
Visas
Visas for Paraguay are required except by all nationals referred to in the chart above:
• EU nationals and nationals of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America who can visit visa-free for stays of up to 90 days.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Paraguay.
Types and Cost
Single-entry visa: £43; multiple-entry visa: £67.
Single-entry visa on arrival: US$135 for Australians, US$150 for Canadians and US$160 for US nationals.
Validity
90 days from the date of issue.
Application to
Consulate (or consular section at embassy). On arrival at the airport for Australian, Canadian and US citizens.
Working days
Two to three days. Processing may take up to 30 days for some nationalities however.
Extension of stay
You can extend your initial 90-day stay by another 90 days. You can't stay in Paraguay for more than 180 days in a 12-month period.
