Best time to visit

Summers are warm with cool nights. Winters are cold, especially around the Great Lakes where conditions can be severe. This, however, makes for great conditions for winter sports.

Required clothing

Warm winter clothes are needed in the coldest months. Light-to-medium weights are advised for the summer.
