Weather in Toronto

Peak season in Toronto is June to August, when the weather is at its balmiest and festival season is in full swing. During key events like Pride Week and Caribana, the city is a hive of activity and prices rise to reflect demand. The most pleasant time to visit is during the shoulder season, when temperatures hover around 20°C (68°F) and you won’t have to queue at the big tourist attractions. If you’re prepared to brave the cold, snow and occasional transport disruption, then Toronto winters can be magical with Christmas markets, ice-skating and light displays in the streets.
