Weather in Damascus
The city’s climate is agreeable year-round. The winters (December to February) are chilly but not excessively rainy, and the summers (June to August) are hot and dry, but it’s never really unpleasant. The best time to visit Damascus is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the mercury slides steadily between 17°C (63°F) and 32°C (90°F). Be warned, though: hotels can book up during both periods, so reserve ahead.
