About Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport (LJU)

From Ljubljana, the most convenient access to the airport is by the E61 highway.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Regular bus services link the airport with Ljubljana's city centre, as well as other destinations like Bled, Kranj and Klagenfurt. You can find the schedules of Arriva Bus here and Alpe Adria Line here.

Taxi: The taxi rank is located right in front of the terminal. All official taxis should have a taxi permit placed on the windscreen.

Terminal facilities

Money:

A bureau de change is located near the check-in counters. There are also ATMs in the terminal, allowing you to withdraw euros.

Food:

There are cafés in the arrivals hall, first floor of passenger's terminal (Schengen area) and in the departures lounge respectively.

Shopping:

There is a small selection of shops at Ljubljana Airport. In the passenger terminal, Shop Ljubljanček offers a good range of Slovenian souvenirs, products and gift items. A duty-free shop is located in the international area and sells the usual range of perfumes, tobacco, alcohol and confectionery.

Luggage:

Passengers arriving at Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport are advised to report lost baggage by calling +386 (0)4 206 1226 or sending an email to lost.found@fraport-slovenija.si. There is also a counter near the baggage claim area.

Other:

Medical services (tel: +386 (0)4 206 1641) are available for all passengers and visitors who need first aid treatment. The majority of the baby changing facilities are located in the ladies' toilets, but there is one facility in the terminal that can be used by both male and female parents.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There is a business VIP lounge serving passengers of different airlines located after security. The lounge has a self-service bar, TV, newspapers, telephone, internet, and screens offering up-to-the-minute information about departures.

Communication Facilities:

There is a post office in the departures hall. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the terminal building.

Disabled facilities:

Ljubljana Airport is accessible for disabled passengers, with wheelchairs available on request. Car parking spaces designated for disabled passengers are situated in on-site car parks.

Car parking:

A multistorey car park with more than 1,300 parking spaces is located opposite the passenger terminal. Further parking spaces are available 5km (3 miles) away in Šenčur.
