About Sochi International Airport (AER)
Sochi International Airport serves the Black Sea coastal resort of Sochi in Russia. It handles many domestic and international flights, many of which are seasonal, and was extensively redeveloped ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, which were held in the city. From Sochi, follow the M27 (E97) south to Adler before turning onto the A148. The airport is well-signposted from this point. The total drive time from central Sochi to the airport is approximately 30 minutes.

Sochi International Airport is situated 25km (15 miles) southeast of Sochi in the town of Adler.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: Bus 105 runs directly from outside the terminal to Sochi’s central railway station throughout the day (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: from руб50). Several other local bus services link the airport with Adler and neighbouring towns.
Shuttle: A SkyBus transfer service, run by Basel Aero, runs from the airport to many resorts in the surrounding area (fare: py400). These buses are scheduled around the arrival and departure of aircrafts.
Taxi: Official taxis serve the airport, operated by Avtoliga, which has a dispatch centre (tel: +7 898 8880 0002) on the ground floor of the terminal in the baggage claim area. Other carriers can also be found outside the arrivals area of the airport; if using unofficial carriers passengers are advised to negotiate their fare before entering the taxi.

Money:
A bank and a number of bureaux de change are located in the terminal building.
Food:
Sochi International Airport has a choice of cafés and bars ranging from international brands to Russian food and drink specialists.
Shopping:
There is a large range of shopping outlets within the terminals, including duty-free goods. Shops available include fashion stores, perfumeries and specialist food and drink retailers, as well as the usual spread of souvenir shops.
Luggage:

Other:
Other facilities at the airport include luggage packing services, an on-site pharmacy and a mother and child room, which contains toys and televisions to keep little ones occupied.

Conference and business:
There is a VIP area and a luxury lounge within the terminal. Meeting and conference facilities are not available at Sochi International Airport, but the nearby Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Centre (tel: +7 862 243 3300; www.radissonblu.com) offer these services, along with many other international hotels in central Sochi.
Communication Facilities:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Sochi International Airport. There is a post office in the terminal.
Disabled facilities:
Sochi International Airport is accessible to physically disabled travellers, with specialised toilets, ramps, lifts (with audible warning symbols) and braille signage. Free parking is also offered to disabled travellers with appropriate documentation. Any passengers who may require additional assistance, including the rental of wheelchairs, are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel.
Car parking:
Short- and long-term parking is available outside the terminal building.
Car rental:
International car rental companies Avis and Europcar have representation at the airport, along with a few local outfits.
