Driving directions:

From central Timişoara, follow the E70 eastward for around 7km (4 miles), then turn left onto Strada Aeroport, which leads directly to the airport entrance. The total drive time from central Timişoara to the airport is approximately 30 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Direct bus services (routes E4 and E4B) connect the airport directly with the city centre and the central railway station respectively (journey time: 15-20 minutes; fare: 2.5 lei). The RATT ticket office (tel: +40 356 803 700; www.ratt.ro- Romanian only) is situated in the Domestic Terminal area.

Terminal facilities

Money:

There is a bank service counter open Mon-Sat at the airport, and an ATM service is available.

Food:

Three snack bars operate within the terminal, two of which are in the public area of the airport.

Shopping:

Duty-free shops are available in Departures and there is a bookshop in the public area.

Luggage:

There are no left luggage facilities at the airport, but free trolleys are provided. For queries regarding items lost or found within the terminal contact the primary airport information desk (tel: +40 245 386 089).

Other:

There are baby care rooms available at Timişoara Traian Vuia International Airport; access to these should be arranged via the information desk.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no meeting facilities at the airport, however there are two VIP lounges in Departures. Meeting rooms for business purposes are available at larger hotels in the city centre including Hotel Ramina (tel: +40 256 272 732; www.hotel-ramina.ro).

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Timişoara Traian Vuia International Airport. There is a post office located in the terminal building, along with public telephones which are available to passengers.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible with lifts, specially designed bathrooms and designated parking spaces for disabled passengers close to the terminal entrance. Any passengers requiring additional assistance should contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:
