Hamburg Hotels

There's an abundance of hotels in Hamburg, so with a little searching, there's nearly always a bargain to be had somewhere. Most of the top-end hotels in Hamburg offer 5-star luxury of the sumptuous old-fashioned kind, but there are also plenty of good, clean 'no-frills' pensions offering excellent value at the other end of the scale. Most of the major international chains are here, and because of Hamburg's status as one of Germany's economic powerhouses, much of the city's hotel trade is geared to cater for international business travellers. As such, it is worth noting that many hotels, contrary to the norm, have higher rates during the week and actually lower their prices on weekends. It never hurts to ask.

The Hamburg hotels below have been grouped into three pricing categories:

Luxury (over €150)

Moderate (€75 to €150)

Cheap (up to €75)

These Hamburg hotel rates are for a double room per night and include all taxes but not breakfast.
