Passports
To enter Georgia, a passport valid for the duration of stay is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above, except EU nationals, who may enter and leave Georgia by air with a valid identity card. Do note that EU nationals who enter or leave Georgia via a third country must present a passport.
Visas
Nationals of 98 countries can enter Georgia without a visa; some of these countries include all EU countries and their overseas territories, Albania, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Iceland, Iran, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Qatar, Russia, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom (and its overseas Territories), United States of America, Uruguay, and Uzbekistan.
Nationals from countries stated above can stay in Georgia for up to one year, except nationals from Chile, Iran and Uruguay, who would be granted a shorter stay.

Types and Cost
E-Visa: US$20 plus 2% service charge.
Validity
The validity of a visa is dependent on the applicant's nationality. Typically, it might be valid for 30 days in a 120-day period or 90 days in a 180-day period.
Transit
Transit visas are available at the border for nationals travelling through Georgia for no more than five days.
