Jersey Shopping and nightlife
Shopping in Jersey
Jersey doesn't charge VAT, making shopping attractive. St Helier has the largest concentration of shops, including the Liberty Wharf shopping mall.
The 36-stall Central Market (47 Market St) is another fine place selling a myriad of items. Nearby, the Beresford Street Market, or more commonly known as the Fish Market, is the place to get seafood caught fresh the same day.
On selected Saturdays between April and September, the Farm & Craft Market at St Aubin is best for picking up farm produce for your picnic or a souvenir to take home.
