Passports
A passport valid for six months from the date of entry to Haiti is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. Foreign nationals not requiring a visa must pay a tourist fee set at USD$10 on arrival at the airport.
Visas
A visa is not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Haiti of up to 90 days.
Nationals holding passports from Chechnya, Iran, Libya, Syria, Vietnam and Yemen require a visa to enter Haiti. Nationals from Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Panama also require a visa if their valid six-month passport does not have a valid US, Canadian or Schengen Visa.
Types and Cost
Single-entry tourist visa: US$25. This type of visa is valid for three months with only one entry.

Processing time varies, but nationals requiring visas should apply at least one month before the departure date.
Extension of stay
Foreign nationals wishing to stay for more than 90 days must obtain a Residence Permit from the Department of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) that is valid for a fiscal year (01 October to 30 September).
Foreign nationals wishing to extend their stay beyond 90 days must obtain a permit from the Department of Immigration and Emigration (DIE).
