From central Baku, follow the Boyukshor Highway northeast – this becomes the Airport Road, which leads past the airport entrance.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: The Aero Express line operates every 30 minutes from 0600 until 1900 and every 40 minutes between 1900 and 2100 and every hour from 2100 until 0600 the next day. The journey from the airport to 28 May Metro Station/Central Railway Station takes 30 minutes and the fare is 1.50 AZN.
Taxi: Taxis are available outside the Terminal 1. The fare into the city starts at around AZN 20-30, and travel time is roughly 30 minutes.
Terminal facilities
Money:
Banks branches with ATMs are available in Departures and Arrivals, and there is a bureau de change in each terminal.
Food:
Numerous cafés, bars and fast food outlets are available both airside and landside. Vending machines containing snacks and drinks can be found in various locations in terminal one.
Shopping:
Duty-free is available in International Departures, and numerous other shops in both terminals offer local products, luxury goods, souvenirs, stationery and magazines and books.
Luggage:
Left-luggage service is available, along with baggage wrapping and trolleys. A lost and found service is available with offices on the first floor of both terminals in Arrivals.
Other:
Other facilities available at Heydar Aliyev International Airport include baby changing rooms, smoking cabins, sleeping pods, pharmacy vending machines and a prayer room. Several tour operators also have tourist information desks within the airport.
Airport facilities
Conference and business:
There are no meeting facilities at the airport, but VIP lounges in both terminals offer a professional and quiet environment for passengers to work. Additional business services, including conference rooms, are available at the on-site Sheraton Hotel (tel: +994 12 437 4949; www.starwoodhotels.com).
Communication Facilities:
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal 1 complex, along with charging stations, public telephones and a post office.
Disabled facilities:
The airport is fully accessible, with lifts, ramps, escalators and disabled toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrances. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
Car parking:
Long- and short-stay parking is available in two car parks immediately outside the terminals. Pay points are situated by the Arrivals exits.
