Passports

To enter Nigeria, a passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond the arrival date is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.

In addition, a Health Declaration Form must be submitted before arrival.

Visas

Nationals from the following countries can visit Nigeria without a visa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

Nationals from countries listed in the chart above need a visa to visit Nigeria.

Types and Cost

Most holidaymakers opt for a tourist visa (as opposed to a business visa or temporary work permit). Visa fees vary by country.

Validity

A tourist visa is usually valid for six months.

Typically two to three working days from the receipt of the application.

Sufficient Funds

When applying for a visa, applicants are required to provide proof of sufficient funds and confirmed hotel reservation.
