Driving directions:

From downtown Abidjan drive southeast on the C2, which will become Pont Henri Konan Bedie. Take a slight left onto Ech. de Marcory, then a slight right onto Boulevard Valéry Giscard d’Estaing. Turn left onto Boulevard de l’Aéroport, then follow the signs to the airport.

Transfer between terminals:

The domestic and international terminals are adjacent, making it easy to walk between the two.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

 

Bus: SOTRA, the Abidjan Transport Company, runs Bus 6, which operates between the airport and the city’s South Plateau Station. Purchase single trip tickets from bus drivers for 200 FCFA. Some foreign authorities consider the bus to be an unsafe transport option. Taxis are generally regarded as safer and more efficient.

 Taxi: Travelers should choose orange taxis with an official fare display. The journey time to the city is 30-40 minutes, and fares start at a minimum of 5,000 FCFA.

 

Terminal facilities

Money:

Banking facilities offering currency exchange services are located at the airport. ATMs are located in the public area and the departure hall.

Food:

A bar and Burger King are located on the ground floor of the airport in the public area, and a café is available adjacent to the Departure Lounge past security checkpoints.

Shopping:

A duty-free outlet in the international terminal and a pharmacy have a variety of products for sale.

Luggage:

Left-luggage storage is provided at the airport. Complimentary luggage trollies are also available for use. For lost and found queries, contact the airport’s information desk (tel: +225 2175 7901).

Other:

A hotel booking service is stationed in the public area.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

The airport has a VIP lounge that offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a VIP bar, but no designated meeting or business spaces. However, conference and meeting facilities are available at larger hotels in the city centre and at the on-site Radisson Blu hotel.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi is available in the airport’s departure and arrival areas for up to 30 minutes of use. After the complimentary 30 minutes, passengers are charged for the service. Alternatively, patrons may access the business lounge for unlimited free Wi-Fi connectivity.

There is a post office just before check-in.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is accessible to passengers with reduced mobility through elevators and escalators. Passengers should contact their airline before arriving at the airport if they require additional assistance.

Car parking:

There are two car parks at the airport offering long and short stay fares. These are located directly outside the terminals.
