A passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Cape Verde is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas
Nationals of the following countries can visit Cape Verde without a visa for up to 30 days: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the Vatican City.
Nationals of Russia can visit Cape Verde without a visa for up to 60 days.
Nationals of the following countries can visit Cape Verde without a visa for up to 90 days: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Hong Kong, Liberia, Macau, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
Important note: A paid online registration with the Policia National de Cabo Verde is mandatory for all travelers up to 5 days before the trip, even for visa-free stays. If arriving by air, you must also pay the airport security tax (TSA). This does not apply to children aged one and under or those who are residents in Cape Verde. If you are travelling with a tour operator, check whether they have arrangements in place to complete the form on your behalf.
