The quickest route from central Algiers to the airport is through the N11. Follow this route to the Pénétrante de l’aéroport Houari Boumedien, which leads to the airport terminal. The total drive time to the airport from central Algiers is approximately 30 minutes.

Free minibus shuttles operate between terminals.

Public transport road:

Bus: “Aero-ville” shuttle buses operated by Etusa (www.etusa.dz) run between the airport and the city centre. Buses No. 100, 39 and 178 serve the airport. The travel time to central Algiers is approximately 30 minutes and tickets can be purchased on the bus for 50 Algerian Dinars.

Taxi: Cabs are available outside of Hall 2. Taxis do not have metres, so agree on a fare with your driver before you start your journey.

There are currently no meeting facilities at the airport. Both the main passenger terminals (1 and 2) have VIP lounges.
