Upgrade and expansion work is being carried out throughout the airport ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. As part of this process, a new terminal opened at the end of 2014.

Driving directions:

The airport is signposted from the city centre. From central Samara join the M32 highway (Moskovskoya Road) heading north, following it all the way to the P178 turn off, which leads directly to the terminal complex.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Public bus number 78 (tel: +7 846 260 2018; www.tosamara.ru) runs regularly during the day from the airport into Barboshina Polyana in the city centre (journey time: 90 minutes; fare: 40RUB).

Taxi: Cabs are available outside Arrivals. The fare for the 45 minute trip into the city centre ranges from 1000-1500 Rubles.

Terminal facilities

Money:

ATMs are situated on the ground floor of both terminals.

Food:

Dining options at the airport are limited. However, there are several cafés offering drinks and snacks, both in the public and Departures areas.

Shopping:

Duty-free is available in International Departures, while other shops are available offering souvenirs, stationery and a small range of electronic goods.

Luggage:

Trolleys are provided, but left-luggage is not available.

Other:

Other facilities at Samara Kurumoch International Airport include baby changing rooms and a first aid station that is equipped to deal with minor medical emergencies (tel: +7 84 6966 5575).

Conference and business:

There are no meeting facilities at the airport, however there is a VIP/business class lounge for departing passengers. For meeting and conference facilities passengers will have to make the two minute journey to the nearby Aviaotel (tel: +7 927 687 9276; www.aviaotel.ru).

Paid-for Wi-Fi access is available throughout the terminals, but it is also possible to obtain limited free service in the VIP lounge.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers, with lifts and disabled toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

Long- and short-stay parking is available immediately outside the terminal.

Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Europcar and Hertz, all of which have desks located in Arrivals.
