Stuttgart Airport is located just off the autobahn Bundesautobahn 8 from Strasbourg to Munich.
From central Stuttgart, head south along the B27 route, and follow the signs for either Ankunft (Arrivals) or Abflug (Departures).
Transfer between terminals:
The terminals are housed within the same building, and are within walking distance of one another.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: The Stuttgart Airport Busterminal (SAB) is located between Flughafenstrasse and Terminal 4, on ground level beneath the P14 car garage. Platforms 1 to 3 are for buses serving regional areas, while platforms 4 to 18 are for long-distance bus services. The bus journey to the city centre is around 25 minutes. Taxi: There is a 24-hour taxi service to Stuttgart. The taxi rank is situated in front of Terminals 1 and 3. A pre-bookable service is available from Taxi Auto Zentrale (tel: +49 711 551 0000; www.taxi-auto-zentrale.de).
Public transport rail:
Rail: Stuttgart Airport is connected to central Stuttgart by S-Bahn (www.vvs.de) commuter trains S2 and S3, which both serve Stuttgart Central Station (journey time: 30 minutes). The S-Bahn station is in Terminal 1, on level 1. Once you reach the Central Railway Station, you can venture into different destinations throughout Baden-Württemberg plus other cities in Germany and beyond.

Money:
There are two banks with bureau de change facilities in Terminal 1. Numerous ATMs are located throughout the airport.
Food:
A good range of restaurants, fast-food outlets, cafés and bars (including a Bavarian-style biergarten) are available at Stuttgart Airport, with options in each terminal.
Shopping:
There are a variety of shops at Stuttgart Airport, including fashion outlets and gift shops. Duty- and tax-free outlets (for passengers travelling to destinations outside the EU) are available in all terminals.
Luggage:
The lost property office (tel: +49 711 948 3362) can be found in front of Terminal 1. A porter service (tel: +49 711 948 4500) is on hand to assist with luggage. Luggage storage facilities are available in Terminal 1, while luggage trolleys are available at the terminal entrances and also in the baggage claim areas.
Other:
Other facilities at Stuttgart Airport include a hairdresser’s, massage centre, children's play area, car maintenance service. A medical centre (tel: +49 711 948 3762) is situated in the departure area of Terminal 1.

Conference and business:
Meeting and conference facilities, accommodating up to 400 people, are available at the on-site Wöllhaf Conference and Banqueting Centre in Terminal 1 (tel: +49 711 948 2700; www.airport-konferenz.de). Rooms here are equipped with internet access and projectors, among other facilities. Meeting and conference facilities are also available at various airport hotels, including the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe (tel: +49 711 553 440; www.movenpick.com).
The Messe Stuttgart exhibition centre (tel: +49 711 185 600; www.messe-stuttgart.de) is adjacent to Stuttgart Airport.
Communication Facilities:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Stuttgart Airport for up to three hours. A post office is located in Terminal 3.
Disabled facilities:
Stuttgart Airport is fully accessible, with lifts, ramps and electronic revolving doors. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are situated on all levels and accessible telephones are also available. Reserved parking for disabled passengers is clearly marked in all car parks and there is an underground car park (enter via car park P5) with extra-wide parking bays.
Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel.
Car parking:
There are various car parks located around the terminals including parking reserved for disabled passengers. Parking can be reserved in advance from the airport parking office (tel: +49 711 7224 9776). Fees start at €39 per week. Charging stations for electric vehicles can also be found.

Car hire companies at Stuttgart Airport include Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt, as well as a number of local operators.
